Set the house’s rule for a guest whose bank asks them to confirm a charge or a hold the card rail tried without them (Stripe’s authentication_required): enabled sends the guest a page to confirm it on, hours is how long they have (1 to 168, default 24) and reminders how many reminders go before the deadline, spread evenly across it (0 to 3, default 1 — one at half-time). Past the deadline the house is told (payment.authentication_overdue). Off (the default), the pending state and its deadline are still recorded, and the desk sends the page itself. Applies to authentications asked for from now on; one already pending keeps its deadline.
