Register a piece of equipment at the house under its code — the house’s tag for it, unique within the house. Registering a code the house already holds re-states that asset in place (details replaced, location re-pointed), so the call is replay-safe and is also how an asset is corrected or moved; an identical re-statement changes nothing. A retired code refuses. The asset stands in a room (room_id) or at a venue (venue_id) — one or the other, both of this house — or nowhere in particular. New assets start active.

Effects: create hospitality.asset; modify hospitality.asset; link hospitality.link.asset_in_room; unlink hospitality.link.asset_in_room; link hospitality.link.asset_at_venue; unlink hospitality.link.asset_at_venue.

branch

Apply against an open branch’s overlay view instead of the canonical (main) plane. The action’s writes land in the branch’s copy-on-first-write overlay, its events in the branch’s own stream, and the invocation is journaled for merge-by-replay. Branch writes are action-only, so this is the write-side entry point to a branch (POST /v1/branches forks one).
