Log a non-reservation visit to the target venue by a person — the bar host’s book turning into structured data. Independent of recognition: a visit may pass without a typed gesture, in which case no recognition event is recorded. The companion recognise_person action handles recognition-tier ladder transitions, with record_recognition_event from proposal 0003 handling the typed gesture itself.

Effects: create hospitality.venue_visit; link hospitality.link.venue_visit_for_person; link hospitality.link.venue_visit_at_venue.

Apply against an open branch’s overlay view instead of the canonical (main) plane. The action’s writes land in the branch’s copy-on-first-write overlay, its events in the branch’s own stream, and the invocation is journaled for merge-by-replay. Branch writes are action-only, so this is the write-side entry point to a branch (POST /v1/branches forks one).
