• Production API

Bind a physical credential (room key card, wristband) to an in-house stay by its opaque vendor token — the enrollment tap: after cutting the key, staff tap it on any reader and the UID lands here, no lock-vendor integration required. At most one active credential may hold a token (database invariant); if the same card’s previous binding is stale (its stay checked out or the credential expired) it is auto-revoked and the token re-issued, otherwise the issue is refused. Caps bound what the credential can post. Emits access.credential_issued.recorded.

Effects: create hospitality.access_credential; modify hospitality.access_credential; link hospitality.link.access_credential_for_stay.

Apply against an open branch’s overlay view instead of the canonical (main) plane. The action’s writes land in the branch’s copy-on-first-write overlay, its events in the branch’s own stream, and the invocation is journaled for merge-by-replay.
