Combine two pre-arrival, single-room, same-room-type reservations at one property into a share: both parties occupy one physical room, each keeping its own reservation, folios, and independent check-in/check-out (OPERA’s share model). The joining stay must overlap the group’s covered dates by at least one night; every overlapping night releases one room-night back to the availability ledger — that release is how one room is deducted regardless of sharer count, while non-overlapping wing nights stay consumed. Distribution full keeps every member’s booked rates; split (two members max) divides the primary’s rate per shared night, remainder to the joiner. Re-invoking with the same primary adds further members to its group.

Effects: create hospitality.share_group; link hospitality.link.share_group_at_property; link hospitality.link.reservation_in_share_group; modify hospitality.availability_day; modify hospitality.reservation_night.
