Time-travel read: the instance as it stood at the at watermark, reconstructed by folding its structural events. Property values that were marking-redacted or truncated in the event log surface as sentinel objects, not values.

One choice inside a modifier group. When it adds something sellable it points at that variant (modifier_option_adds_variant) and is priced at price if set, else at the variant’s own price; with no variant it is an instruction to the kitchen (medium rare, no ice) and costs nothing.
