One menu price for a variant (price_for_variant), optionally narrowed to an outlet (price_at_outlet), an order kind (room-service pricing), a daypart (the bar’s lunch price) and an effective window (a price rise from a date). A sale takes the most specific row in force — outlet beats any outlet, then order kind, then daypart — and two equally specific rows refuse to ring. amount is the price the guest sees: VAT-inclusive wherever the tax rule is inclusive (UK), net where it adds on.

provenance

Per-property source attribution and pins. An entry under properties means the property’s current value came from that source (on the source’s own clock, source_updated_at); an entry under pins is a human override protecting the property from sourced writes.

Quoted strong validator (RFC 7232 §2.3) carrying the object’s monotonic version. Informational on the read path — object mutation goes through typed actions on /v1/actions/{action}/apply, not raw CRUD.

No object with that id (or soft-deleted).
