Set the expected, guaranteed or set attendance (any subset). The guaranteed number may be lowered only before guarantee_due_at; after it, it can only rise — the contract’s rule. A count above the space’s capacity in the event’s setup style is refused. Refused on an actual or cancelled event.

Effects: modify hospitality.function_event.

Apply against an open branch’s overlay view instead of the canonical (main) plane. The action’s writes land in the branch’s copy-on-first-write overlay, its events in the branch’s own stream, and the invocation is journaled for merge-by-replay.
