Open the banquet event order for an event: a draft at revision 0 under the banquet outlet its charges will post through, priced in one currency, with the setup, service, AV and billing notes. An explicit folio_id fixes where the charges go; without one, a group’s event posts to its block’s master folio. One order per event; a cancelled event refuses.

Effects: create hospitality.banquet_event_order; link hospitality.link.function_event_has_order; link hospitality.link.banquet_order_at_outlet; link hospitality.link.banquet_order_posts_to_folio.

Apply against an open branch’s overlay view instead of the canonical (main) plane. The action’s writes land in the branch’s copy-on-first-write overlay, its events in the branch’s own stream, and the invocation is journaled for merge-by-replay. Branch writes are action-only, so this is the write-side entry point to a branch (POST /v1/branches forks one).
