Time-travel read: the instance as it stood at the at watermark, reconstructed by folding its structural events. Property values that were marking-redacted or truncated in the event log surface as sentinel objects, not values.

The register dialect that applies inside a specific venue — front-desk discreet-professional, signature-restaurant formal-warm, cocktail-bar crafted-theatre, spa focused-coaching. Inherits unstated axes from the property’s service_philosophy defaults (the philosophy’s *_default fields seed the register’s matching fields when a venue-scoped override isn’t recorded). When Tier 1.4 lands, the register may inherit from a venue_brand instead; the Property → Venue inheritance is fine for §1.2 alone (proposal §10 open question 7).
